Cellular-senescence evidence reference
SeneSIQ
Senolytics and senomorphics, mapped to what the evidence actually shows — species by species, endpoint by endpoint.
No senolytic has a human lifespan RCT. Lifespan-extension evidence is animal-only. Human trials to date are small pilots or early-phase studies with feasibility, biomarker, or disease endpoints — including one failed Phase 2. Every intervention page shows this plainly.

Evidence tiers
| Tier | Label | Note |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Human lifespan / clinical-outcome RCT | Randomized, hard clinical/lifespan endpoint. NONE exist for any senolytic/senomorphic as of the search date. |
| 2 | Human RCT — disease or biomarker endpoint | Randomized, but endpoint is a disease score or biomarker, not lifespan. |
| 3 | Human open-label pilot (feasibility / biomarker) | Small, non-randomized; feasibility, tolerability, or senescent-cell biomarker change. |
| 4 | Human observational / mechanistic | Cohort, cross-sectional, or ex-vivo human tissue. |
| 5 | Replicated animal lifespan study | Median/maximum lifespan change in an animal model, replicated. |
| 6 | Animal healthspan / mechanism study | Function, pathology, or senescent-cell clearance in an animal model; not a lifespan endpoint. |
| 7 | In vitro / ex vivo | Cell-culture senolysis or mechanism; no whole-organism outcome. |
